    330604 - Adaptive Aquatics

Practicing between classes is so important when learning to swim! Here痴 an opportunity for parents to learn how to teach swimming to their child or teen with disabilities. Youth should be beginner or advanced-beginner swimmers. We encourage you to swim with your child (please let us know if you will)! You can be a beginner as well, since you値l be guided by the instructor. Otherwise, we'll attempt to have enough volunteers for one to swim with each child but cannot guarantee this during the summer. Emphasis will be individualized: developing confidence and independence in the water, stroke development, water safety, etc.
